Bad Taste (1987) – 2/5
Wow, so bad. Makes me feel better about my failures in life. Our early work sd always looks somewhat ‘bad’ to us – it shows that we’re improving and can see our past flaws and how we’ve grown.
It’s no challenge to see how Peter Jackson’s early work was off the LOTR mark.
He plays two roles in this movie and it really shows his dramatic range… and comedic prowess.
The quality of the image and sound isn’t great and the accents and Kiwi phrases (“popped his rivets”) don’t help, but don’t let that stop you from enjoying this movie – there’s plenty of things to do that.
Watching this movie can give us all hope that we can continue in our endeavors and do something great… much later.
