JamPlay.com Review – Update: Blues

So I’ve been using  JamPlay.com for about 3 months now and loving it! I wanted to update my review of the online guitar lessons for beginners (or experienced)…

I went thru the beginner lessons and they were interesting, not intimidating and fun!

From there, I started “Hawkeye” Herman’s blues lessons. There’s 142 of them – I’ve done 37. So I’m about 25% the way through and feel like I’ve learned a lot!

I love the way it’s very informative, not rushed, but you look back and think “Hey, I’ve learned a lot.” I think it’s because they tend to build on each other but just one step at a time. Like Hawkeye says: Crawl before you walk, walk before you run.

The pace is up to you – you could do several lessons in one day or however you want. In some cases, I’ve done multiple lessons in a day when it was short of very basic. Then in other cases it’s several days btwn lessons b/c I need to practice it.

It’s done very well in my opinion and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for great online lessons that are effective and VERY cheap compared to other methods.
