Bad Sequels: When Harry Met Sally 2! (2014)
After twenty-five years of struggling with infertility, the only thing Sally is more tired of than Harry is giving repeat performances of her “cafe experience.”
On a lark, she decides to surprise him on one of his business trips and discovers he has a whole other family in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Nervously Harry launches into a rant about “Why do they always say ‘Raleigh-Durham’ like it’s one city… it’s not one city. My whole life, I don’t understand this.”
Harry’s “other” wife, played by Kate Upton, is pregnant with twins which adds insult to injury.
In a last ditch effort to save their marriage, their good friends Marie (Carrie Fisher) and Jess (Bruno Kirby) suggest they all go on a trip… to search for Curly’s gold. Daniel Stern rounds out the cast as the quirky but lovable cattle-driving ranch-hand.
A freak comet kills them all.
Critics unanimously give it a -70 stars.
