I decided to try Optimum Nutrition Essential Amino Energy preworkout b/c it has less caffeine than other preworkouts I’ve tried.
I like it. It gives me a good kick w/ what caffeine is has, but also some good push for my workout.
I usually only do like 1 scoop – but the serving size is 2 scoops. 2 scoops has 160 mg of caffeine so 1 scoop is a little less than a cup of coffee (100 mg).
The taste is good, it mixes well and I don’t notice any other affects.
It’s a good preworkout if you’re looking for something w/ little caffeine.
