When We Were Kings (1996). – 4/5

I saw the movie “Ali” which was good and is based on this same time/event.

I grew up w/ an impression of Ali, but didn’t know details like how this fight was a come-back for him. Also, seeing Foreman in his prime was very cool.

I cdn’t help but keep thinking that “Rocky” must have been heavily inspired by/based on this fight: underdog, comeback, tiring his opponent by letting him hit on him w/ body blows (that might have been “Rocky II” or “Rocky III”), etc.
