The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) – 3.5/5

The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946)

Excellent film-noir piece. It’s a pretty wild ride as far as the actual story goes.
A lot of 90 degree turns. I assume that’s b/c it’s a novel adaptation and they tried to include everything.

That can be a problem b/c then there’s no one main story/goal, but on the other hand, it can develop rich characters over time. Like a mini-series or similar

Hume Cronyn really stood out – great!
