Heat (1995) – 3.5/5
Great acting and ‘big’ idea movie. The action is subtle and the relationships all around are tense.
I kept finding myself not knowing what I wanted to happen.

Neil is ultimately able to walk away when he feels the heat, but it’s not to save his own skin, but Eady’s. It’s a powerful statement on various levels.
However, it was unwise of him to make the side trip to risk it all. Not smart. And he sd have known that pulling the fire alarm wd attract a lot of attention. In some cases, that wd be fine (and the script called for it), but he sd have known the ‘heat’ wd come down.
