Grizzly Man (2005) – 3.5/5
I think Werner Herzog did an incredible job of taking hundreds of hours of video covering several years and putting it together to tell a compelling story.
I thought this movie wd be about the events of Timothy Treadwell’s time in Alaska, but it’s really about Timothy himself.
I think he was mixed up a bit, but anyone being by themself in the wilderness like that wd look crazy on camera before long.
He had some issues and seemed to be drawn to the thrill a lot. He was a little paranoid and strange, but I don’t think we can write him off too quickly only.
He just got hooked on going up there and had some bad conclusions of what he sd do about it.
I think it does a good job of presenting the various aspects of the person and story and let’s the viewer draw their own conclusions.
