Maybe it’s my age showing, but the highschool kids movies where they’re “angry at the world” is quite old. I guess, however, we see Rebecca get beyond that a bit as she moves on from highschool. Enid doesn’t and pays for it.

She’s pretty much a selfish wreck, but I guess that’s teenagers.

About the only redeeming part of this movie (beside Dave Sheridan) was the ending, which, while kinda weak, was at least different.

Did she kill herself? Just die somehow? Leave town? “Disappear”? Go to “Ghost World”? Maybe the comic is more clear???
