Delicatessen (1991) – 4/5
Great acting and directing. Somewhat of a light Terry Gilliam.
The characters are great and developed so well w/ so little dialogue. Everything was so unique and interesting. I liked how so many things are left unexplained, unanswered and unresolved. I don’t go looking for that, but I like when they the filmmakers don’t feel the need to wrap everything up.
Sometimes it’s necessary and sometimes it’s necessary not to. It’s great when they know the difference.
