Apocalypto (2006) – 3.5/5

Good movie – I like the lack of dialog and use of strong characters to communicate. It had good, strong themes and action.

Not sure why the well filling up w/ water wd be a problem for the woman – wdn’t she just float to the top and get out? Sure, she might have to tread water for a while or hold onto something on the side, but… granted she was pregnant/in labor, but still.
