The Rescuers Down Under (1990)

I think these earlier Disney movies just aren’t holding my attention and such. The stories and characters aren’t that compelling.

The artwork was good and the backgrounds (first CGI backgrounds for Disney) were good. The opening sequence w/ the eagle was fun too.

Like many older movies (and probably some newer ones too???), there’s a real “bad guy” as opposed to just opposition or just a situation (see “Cars”). He’s a poacher.

I didn’t see the prequel so that didn’t help, but I doubt I will.
