Deuteronomy 17:18-19 – The King’s Bible

“…he shall write for himself a copy of this law…and he shall read it all the days of his life…”

So the king should write a copy of all of this a read it. Why?

To know it and to know God and to be a godly leader. Of course, this was way before they had kings, but God knew it was coming (v14).

Shouldn’t we all strive to know Him, His ways, His character, be like Him, fil our minds and hearts w/ His thoughts and be able to see Him more clearly to love and serve Him? I think so.
